Apparently I like detective work. After working for several years in the medical field where I ran tests to figure out what was making patients sick, I decided I wanted to do a different type of research. I completed a graduate degree in historic preservation at Ball State University where I discovered I liked digging up the history of old buildings. I have researched the histories of well over one hundred houses and buildings, have written or co-written nine successful nominations to the National Register of Historic Places, and co-authored a National Register of Historic Places Multiple Property Document. I am also listed on the Qualified Professionals Roster with the Indiana Division of Historic Preservation and Archaeology. For the most part, I travel within the northeastern region of Indiana, but I am not limited to the area. Contact me to look into the past of your house or building to learn about its story.
